T-shirts of Akademi Fantasia a hot item in Brunei

T-shirts depicting the twelve students of Akademi Fantasia have been one of the hottest items in the market.

T-shirts depicting the 12 students of Akademi Fantasia, a successful Malaysian entertainment programme available at Kristal-Astro, has proved to be a hit with the locals especially the young generation.

According to the booth operator at the PPPMB Multi-Variety Bazaar at the Delima Desa Complex, Kg Serusop, the T-shirts had been one of the hottest items amongst the products sold at the stall.

"I have sold many of them and have to replenish more stocks on a daily basis," said the owner.

The 12 students of Akademi Fantasia will be spending their Hari Raya in Brunei with their fans in a concert that is scheduled to be held on December 6 at the JPCC Amphitheatre, Jerudong.

The organisers said they expect the concert to be a full house as they have received many enquiries and bookings.

They added the concert will be a real boost for tourism as many enquiries have come from Sabah, Limbang and Lawas.

"At the moment, most of the enquiries from foreign fans were relayed to us through their local friends and relatives.

"We would like to advise fans to look out in the Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata for the details of the concert including ticket sales and outlets," said a spokesperson.
