Circumcision Methods Enhanced In Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan – Brunei’s circumcision methods are to be upgraded.

Upgrading the quality of existing services is one of the objectives of the Ministry of Health under the country's health plan for the year 2000 to 2010.

Awang Haji Azahari Bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health highlighted this when he officially declared open a circumcision workshop this morning.

Awang Haji Azahari urged participants of the course to find the latest and safest methods in circumcision.

More than 30 circumcision officials of the Ministry of Health are attending the course.

The workshop, the first of its kind, is aimed at ensuring that the practise of circumcision in the country is carried out systematically and safely. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
