New Agriculture, Fisheries And
Forestry School In 2005
Bandar Seri Begawan – A new
vocational school offering courses in agriculture, forestry and
fisheries will be established in the year 2005.
The school is yet another project
under the 8th national development plan aimed at accelerating human
recourses development in the country.
A foundation laying ceremony for the
building was held yesterday.
The Minister of Education, Pehin Dato
Haji Awang Abdul Aziz, led the function held at the construction site.
Construction works on the new
vocational school began last march and to be completed in March 2005.
Budgeted at more than $15 million,
the project stands on a 198-acre land in Kampong Wasan, Limau Manis.
When completed, the building will
house the administration, agricultural and fisheries blocks as well as
