The Country Wants You Says Police

Pengiran Ahmad Bin Pengiran Haji Damit

Bandar Seri Begawan – Students joining the police cadets should do so on their own free will.

This is to ensure they become responsible and disciplined citizens, qualities which can help prevent them from getting involved in unhealthy and unlawful activities.

The remarks came from Pengiran Ahmad Bin Pengiran Haji Damit, Police Deputy Commissioner, at a Drill Competition for police cadet teams of secondary schools and college in the country yesterday.

Pengiran Ahmad in his address further reminded students to equip themselves with the best knowledge and highest academic qualifications they can get “as students will become the future leaders who will continue the development and aspiration of the country”.

Six secondary schools and colleges took part in the drill competition.

The judging was based on several criteria, including fitness, movement and discipline.

The champion was the Sultan Hassan Bangar Secondary School from the Temburong District.
