Association of Overseas Chinese Taipei celebrates 26th anniversary

Cutting the cake for the 26th anniversary.

The Association of Overseas Chinese Taipei celebrated its 26th anniversary on Thursday, at Phong Mun restaurant in the capital.

The highlight of the event was the cutting of the cake by both the chief guest Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Kassim - an advisor to the association - and Mr James Chen, the representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Brunei.

In his speech, the chief guest congratulated executive committee members for their efforts in introducing and promoting Brunei Darussalam to the people of Taipei through tourism.

He also congratulated the association for its successful participation in numerous activities, especially those during His Majesty's birthday celebration as well as National Day celebration.

The event also saw speeches delivered by Mr James Chen, as well as the President of the Association Mr Lim Tiong Tin.
