PWM to hold Deepavali Night

Persatuan Warganegara Malaysia will be organising "Malaysia Deepavali Night 2003." It is scheduled to take place on October 18, 2003 at 7.00 pm in the Cesar's Grand Hall of Orchid Garden Hotel.

The guest of honour for the special event is going to be Tan Sri Jamil Johari and his wife, Puan Sri Zahrah.

Dr Babu Sukumaran, who is also a vice president of PWM, chairs the organising committee.

He said that the celebration should be filled with cultural performances, singing in various languages and attractive gifts for lucky draws.

He also disclosed that the evening would also include prizes for guests in the best Indian attire to be picked from among the crowd. PWM invites all Malaysians in Brunei to join in the fun.
