Learning effective appraisal skills

Human Capacity Building (HCB) Consultancy Services last Thursday held a two-day course on "Effective Appraisal Skills Using NLP Technique."

It was conducted by Assistant Professsor Jijar Singh, HCB Associate Consultant.

The event was attended by a total of nine supervisors and assistant managers from Insurans Islam TAIB Sdn Bhd (IITSB).

Present to give the certificates was the Ag Managing Director of IITSB, Dato Paduka Hj Junaidi POKPS DP Hj Hashim.

Neuro Linguistic Programming, or NLP as it is more commonly known, has been internationally proven.

It is known to be a very effective and efficient tool when included in training programmes, especially for higher-level management.

The objective of the course was to enhance IITSB's current appraisal system by incorporating NLP.

NLP has been described by its founder as "an attitude" with a string of techniques that can be applied holistically in all aspects of one's life to enrich experiences.
