Municipal Board moves vendors behind Civil Hall
By Hj Minor Absah

Some of the stalls that have to be relocated.

In view of the failure to implement a temporary site for a "Tamu" near the Tutong Hospital residential flat, the Municipal Board informed vendors yesterday that those who operate every Thursday since July this year are to be relocated.

They are to be sent back to an empty space behind the Civil Hall of the district effective from October 16, 2003.

Temporary allocation will be according to space numbers and category.

The board also informed that it offers "Pondok Contoh" or a sample of the stall, which they are advised to follow as it looks neat and more properly arranged.

It should not exceed the limit as to accommodate management committees who would be carrying out surveillance and rubbish collection.

Trash site should also be provided for waste to avoid filthy smell and maintain cleanliness.
