Religious Officers Urged To Attend Mosque Activities Often

Tutong – Religious officers are urged to attend more frequently any activity conducted at mosques.

This was stressed by Pehin Dato Dr Ustaz Haji Awang Mohamad Zain, Minister of Religious Affairs, in conjunction with the Minister's working visit to mosques of Zone One and Two in Tutong District.

The Religious Affairs Minister also touched on the improvements of facilities in the mosques such as P-A-Systems as the systems are important equipment in delivering Azan or prayer call and Friday sermon as well as leading the prayers.

He also discussed the problems brought up by the mosque officials such as on-leave applications, fare allowances applications which should be submitted earlier, and the lack of staff to assist the officials in doing administrative works.
