This was stated by Pehin Dato Haji Awang Isa, Special Advisor to His Majesty at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Minister of Home Affairs, at the Silver Jubilee Anniversary of the Abdul Razak Holdings last night.

He said that the decision of Abdul Razak Holdings to expand their businesses outside the country is in line with the call by His Majesty's government for local entrepreneurs and businesses to compete with their foreign counterparts.

He believed the relevant authorities should be informed promptly about problems faced by private firms, especially those dealing with government departments and agencies.

This is for the benefits of both sides saying that it would assist the authorities to improve the system or the country's administrative mechanism.

The Abdul Razak Holdings was formally established on October 5, 1978.

Prior to its formation, Abdul Razak Holdings by tradition has been operating its business through trading, commercial cultivation and management of rubber plantations as well as real estate shop house development since the early 1900s.
