Ministry of Home Affairs holds Israk Mikraj gathering

The Ministry of Home Affairs last night held an Israk Mikraj gathering with Dato Paduka Awg Hj Adanan, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, invited as the guest of honour. It was held at the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque in Kg. Serusop.

The gathering was jointly organised by the Brunei/Muara District Office, Mukim Berakas A Consultative Council and the organising committee of the Mohammed Bolkiah Mosque.

Also present were permanent secretaries at the ministry, the Brunei/Muara District Officer and senior officers from the ministry, village chiefs and leaders of Brunei/Muara District Office and members of the Consultative Council of Mukim Berakas 'A'.

Among the highlights was a talk on Israk Mikraj delivered by a speaker from the Islamic Dakwah Centre, Ustaz Hj Ali. It began with the Maghrib prayer.
