Foundation Marks Anniversary With Doa Ceremony

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation has held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to mark the 11th anniversary of its formation.

The function was held on Saturday night at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Tahfiz at Jalan Tutong.

Present at the ceremony were members of the administrator and the board of directors of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation as well as officers.

The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation was established with the consent of His Majesty Sultan of Brunei on October 5, 1992 in conjunction with the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty’s accession to the throne.

Its formation was a demonstration of His Majesty’s serious attention towards the welfare of his subjects.

In the 11 year of its establishment, the foundation have carried out various projects and activities in line principle and objective, that covered the area of religious, welfare, education, development and financial.

All these had been carried out with the aim to improve the tranquillity and the welfare of the people in Brunei. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
