Fans having an enjoyable night

Hundreds came to watch Melly Goeslaw sing live at the Jerudong Park Country Club Amphitheatre last Saturday.

Melly's songs, which have become increasingly popular in the recent past due to the rising fame of the Indonesian hit - Ada Apa Dengan Cinta, wowed her many fans with a number of songs from the movie soundtrack.

Also making appearances were the two leading stars of this Indonesian film - Dian Sastrowardoyo who played Cinta and Nicholas Saputra, who played the quiet Rangga. Melly sang with such enthusiasm that it was impossible for fans to sit still.

Hit songs filled the air. They included Bahagia, Apa Ada Dengan Cinta, Ingin Mencintai dan Dicintai, Dimana Malumu, Suara Kekasih, Tentang Seseorang performed by Anda of Potret. The grand finale was the song that made instant popularity - Ada Apa Dengan Cinta - performed by Melly and a rising local singer, Awang Crescendo.

Also gracing the event was HRH Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah accompanied by her husband, Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahim, as well as their children.
