Over 300 Retired Public Servants Get Certificates

Bandar Seri Begawan – More than 300 retired government officials in division three and below received their certificates at the Civil Services Day celebration for the Brunei-Muara District yesterday afternoon.

Pengiran Abdul Haris Bin Pengiran Haji Shahbudin, Acting District Officer of Brunei-Muara, in his speech said the role of the 'heart' is fundamental to the productivity of employees, and that the use and management of their time at work can be influenced by it.

Certificates were presented by Dato Haji Awang Adnan, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

A total of 384 retired officials, including more than 150 women received their certificates.

Winners of the Essay Writing competition in conjunction with the Civil Service Day also received their prizes.

Pengiran Haji Noor Asmawi Bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad from the State Judicial Department won the competition with his essay entitled ' Ke Arah Kecemerlangan Perkhidmatan Awam'.

Those involved in the recent quality control circle competition also received their prizes.
