Akademi Fantasia coming to Brunei

The twelve talents who participated
in one of the most successful ever Malaysian entertainment programmes
- Akademi Fantasia - will be spending their Hari Raya in Brunei
Darussalam with their fans in a concert scheduled to be held on Dec 6.
Accompanied by the programme
announcer Aznil Nawi, the 12 talents -Vince, Khai, Azizi, Nija, Liza,
Sahri, Rosma, Nana, Burn, Atie, Adi and Azza will be performing at the
JPCC Amphitheatre, Jerudong in a concert that will help boost the
tourism industry here as agreed by the Brunei Tourism Department.
Organised
by an experienced entertainment company in Brunei Darussalam, their
concert is expected to bring an influx of tourists from Federal
Territory of Labuan, Sabah, Limbang and Lawas.
The organiser stated that a myriad of
activities will be held while the 12 stars are here such as
meet-the-fans session, television appearance and radio interviews.
"At the meet-the-fans session, we are
planning various activities which definitely include photo sessions,
questions and answers and autograph signing. We may also include games
and a quiz too," a spokesperson said.
The popularity of the Astro and
Kristal Astro programme cannot be denied.
In Brunei Darussalam alone the
audience was estimated to be in the region of 100,000 while in
Malaysia, millions of people never missed the Saturday night
programme, which ended recently after much hype and glamour with Vince
as the winner.
