Man Caught With Incendiary Device Discharged

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 42-year-old Filipino who was caught with having in his possession a glass bottle, which was partly filled with kerosene and fitted with a wick at the Empire Hotel and Country Club in Jerudong sixteen days ago, was discharge not amounting to an acquittal yesterday, after device was found not to be explosives.

According to the Prosecuting Officer, Hjh Najwa Hj Abd Majid, the device found in the possession of Harley P. Diopenes at the hotel was for lighting purposes.
