Temburong Schools Mark Teacher’s Day

Temburong – More than 2,000 students and 200 teachers from 16 schools in Temburong District have joined in the celebration of Teacher’s Day this year.

Various programmes were organised to mark the Teachers' Day. The celebration was also attended by parents and guardians.

In every celebration, the schools would organise special programmes in honour of students who had excelled in their study.

This was in line with the teachers' effort to produce excellent students in various fields.

Included in the events was the presentation of prizes to excellent students in their education. This aimed to encourage them to work harder.

Students, who had excelled in their study, reflected the teachers' success in moulding knowledgeable society.

During the celebration, some schools presented sketches, showing students’ learning in their classrooms.

One of the messages was to show that students should abide by the school regulations and discipline.

Recreational sports were also organised to highlight the Teachers' Day celebration.

The celebration was both for teachers but for the public.
