Over $4 Million Road Projects Underway In Temburong

Temburong – Several widening and upgrading road projects costing more than $4 million are in progress in Temburong District.

Such effort is aimed at improving and upgrading the life standard of the people in the district.

The projects also include those carried out by the district office.

The district itself has its own Road Development Scheme under the 8th National Development Plan.

The roads included in the project are Jalan Selapon, Negalang Ering, Jalan Belayang and the roads of Kampong Rataie and Kampong Luagan.

The more than $4 million project began in June last year. It is expected to be completed in May next year.

The government will also provide road junctions connecting individual residence with the district's main roads.

Among the projects is the upgrading of road junctions which is now nearing completed. It costs more than $1 million. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
