Organic compost highlighted in Seria exhibition

An exhibition to promote the Duaodua compost - organised by Syarikat APT Waste Management Sdn Bhd with the co-operation of Health, Safety and Environment Department of the Brunei Shell Petroleum Co - was held last Monday and Tuesday at the BSP headquarters in Seria.

The exhibition received an especially good response from the BSP staff. Throughout the two-day promotion period, the company gave away 3kg packages of organic compost free to every BSP personnel who came to the exhibition. The organic compost is expected to be sold to the public soon.

Duaodua-APT Waste Management began producing compost this year. The company's mission is to build and implement an efficient and effective management of waste to ensure a healthy environment.

Organic compost is processed through a green waste generation by BSP that increases the main soil nutrients such as soil structure, water-soil capacity and soil pH.
