Over 200 take part in Kg Tamoi Mosque ceremony

Kampong Tamoi Mosque in Brunei-Muara District held a religious ceremony yesterday, which involved 'Sunat Hajat' prayers and the reading of 'Surah Yasin' verses. It was led by Ustaz Hj Rahman bin Yunos.

Over 200 students from Bendahara Lama Primary School, Hj. Tarif Primary School and Persediaan Arab BSB School attended the ceremony.

The Assistant Director of Mosque Affairs, Ustaz Pg Hj Bahrom bin Pg Hj Bahar, was present as guest of honour. He presented certificates to the students of PSR Tuition Class.

As a token of appreciation, the chairman of the committee, Chegu Hj Tamam bin Hj Timbang presented a souvenir to the guest of honour. The ceremony drew to a close with the reading of doa selamat by Imam Hj Sabtu bin Abdullah.
