In search of a wild meal
Photo by Masdizam Bin Haji Mohammad

You don't always have to go to the "tamu"
(market) to buy your vegetables. This is because Brunei is rich in
edible vegetation that still covers much of the country. And this is
good news for those who love to eat jungle produce or vegetables such
as "lemiding", which grow in abundance in the wild. The boy and woman
in this photograph seem to have the right idea as they pick the wild
plant, lemiding, for their next meal.
