Minister inspects Tutong sports complex

The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Dato (Dr) Awg Hj Hussain Hj Mohd Yusof, yesterday visited the Department of Youth and Sports of the Tutong District building and its premises.

He saw to its amenities and equipment are in working condition, that the sports complex was safe, and if maintenance work were needed.

The minister held a briefing session with senior officers and officers of the department on the various repair works needed by the department and its premises.

It also touched on the facilities and public amenities provided at the Tutong JKBS sports complex and maintenance of the complex, and the variety of youth sports activities in the district.

The Minister was later taken for a visit to the new Tutong 'Belapan' Padang, which is nearing its completion and to be opened to associations and the public soon.
