Now An Official Website For Tourism By BIMP-EAGA

Bandar Seri Begawan – An official tourism website for the BIMP-EAGA administered by the BIMP East Asian Business Council EABC has gained the endorsement and accreditation of the E-Asean Task Force as an E-Asean Pilot Project.

The endorsement was made during the 4^th Meeting of the E-Asean Task Force held earlier this month in Bangkok.

It will be included in the list of two endorsed projects for submission to Asean leaders in the informal summit next month in Singapore.

EABC’s internet projects which has also received support from the Asean Development Bank aims to broaden opportunities particularly for Small and Medium Enterprise SMEs via the web.

It is being developed to help prepare the region’s SMEs for the full impact of corporate marketing and product promotion online.

Through the website East Asean biz.net the EABC hopes to attract more active interest to the region as a premiere investment and tourism destination.
