Financial Issues Book To Be Published

Bandar Seri Begawan – The State Mufti’s Department will soon publish a book entitled  “Financial Issues”.

The book will contain the financial issues in accordance to Islamic teachings, compiled by the late and the present state Mufti between the year's 1962-1999.

It will be published under the sponsorship of the Islamic Bank Brunei Bhd (IBB) and its subsidiaries.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the sponsorship of the book was held this afternoon.

The ceremony was also for the sponsorship of the publication of another book issued by the State Mufti’s department which compiles the State Visits of His Majesty abroad.

The State Mufti, Pehin Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Aziz in his address said the books will be published both in Malay and English.

He said the publication of the two books is to mark two big events held in the country such us in conjunction with the 53^rd Birthday of His Majesty Sultan of Brunei and the 2000 APEC Summit.
