Israk Mekraj Celebrations At Istana Nurul Iman

Bandar Seri Begawan – Her Majesty Pengiran Isteri Hajah Saleha and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Isteri Hajah Mariam attended the Israk Mekraj celebrations at Istana Nurul Iman this afternoon.

Present were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Muta Wakila Hayatul Bolkiah, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nurul Bolkiah, Her Royal Highness Hajah Hafizah Suurul Bolkiah, and Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubaubul Bolkiah.

Also present were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Norain, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam, and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Nor Edsani.

The function began with the reading of AL-Quran by Hajah Masni Hajah Rulmana.

A special religious talk on the significance of Israk Mekraj was delivered by Dato Dr Hajah Masita Hj Ibrahim from the International Islamic University Malaysia.

Also present at the ceremony were wives of ministers, Privy Councilors, Pengiran Pengiran Cheteria and Foreign Diplomats, members of the Women Council and women’s uniformed organizations.
