Bandar Seri Begawan – An Award presentation was held at Betabur Hall, Ministry of Development to honor the Water Department and Survey Department for their successes in the 15th Quality Circle (KKC) Competition held at the national level.

The Minister of Development, Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Date Seri Setia Awg Haji Abdullah, the guest of honor, presented the certificates to the Water Service Department and Survey Department.

Operation, Maintenance and Customer Section in the Water Service Department, Public Works Department (JKR), Ministry of Development won the gold award in the KKC competition in the service department category with their project entitled "Improving Customer Service Through Change Management".

The Customer Service Section from Water Service Department won the silver award in the financial

category with the project entitled "Successful Change Management In Revenue Collection".

Meanwhile the Administration and Finance Department, Ministry of Development received a certificate of appreciation in the service category for the project HR21.

Meanwhile, three groups from the Survey Department won three silver awards in the KKC competition where the Quality Group presented "Lateness In Delivering Outside Survey", and the Map Group presented "Process In Digital Data Application".

Also in attendance were Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) Awang Haji Mohd Rozan, Permanent Secretary (Technical and Professional) Dato Paduka Haji Rashid and Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) Awang Haji Mohd Zin. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
