Bandar Seri Begawan - QAF Auto SDN BHD is currently holding a three-day roadshow, which began yesterday at the Lobby Concourse of The Mall in Gadong.

The roadshow features the all-new BMW Navigation Plus along with a display of the BMW 320i with Navigation Plus, BMW X3 (2.5) with side step and roof rack and BMW Navigation Plus, BMW 520i and the latest BMW I 80i with BMW Navigation Plus.

During the roadshow, visitors will have the opportunity to view the latest GPS technology from BMW, which is featured standard in its 3 Series and X3 models.

The device measures approximately 4.3 inches in diameter and is more than just a GPS tool for your car. Apart from its first-rate navigation utilities, the BMW Navigation Plus comes preloaded with

the 'City Navigator' which highlights street maps around Borneo and 'Points of Interest' that include the nearest hotels, restaurants, fuel stations, ATMs and more.

The touch screen allows the user to enter destinations featuring 2D or 3D maps with a turn by-turn voice direction. The device that is able to announce the name of exits and streets allows the driver to enjoy a safer journey without having to take their eyes off the road.

The user may save several routes and preview a simulation of the journey on the BMW Navigation Plus with its route planning features.

The device also features a 'trip log', which is an electronic “breadcrumb trail’ of up to 10,000 points, to enable the user to see where they have been on the map.

Additionally, the navigation system which features a five-hour battery capacity is also equipped with an MP3 player or audiobook player, JPEG picture viewer.

Bluetooth hands-free kit, speed indicator, currency calculator, SD card insert and USB connection as well as voice recognition features in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.

With the Bluetooth wireless technology, compatible Bluetooth mobile phones can be paired with the BMW Navigation Plus to make calls with the device. In this mode, dialed numbers will appear on the touch screen of the device, which has also been integrated with built-in microphones for hands-free calls.

Latest arrivals from the BMW Sauber FI Team limited official merchandise items including Petronas Team shirts, spec431 edition key rings, backpacks, all-weather jackets and more are also available during the roadshow with special discounts.

Other merchandise including items from the BMW Lifestyle Collection and M Collection are also available including silver and leather key rings, stationery items, leather wallets, umbrellas and watches. The BMW Collection will also feature its line of stylish apparel for ladies and men ranging from all-weather jackets, fleece jackets, crew neck shins, polo shirts and caps.
