DST Takes Mobile Entertainment To Whole New Level

Bandar Seri Begawan - DST Group yesterday launched another new service called "OntheGo!", which opens up an exciting world of entertainment, news and sports for its Prima and Easi subscribers.

The new value added service of DST's 'OW Broadband' 3.5G service offers premium content services for all ages such as Disney, Nickelodeon, CNN, LSPN Sports, MTV, Astro Ria, Asti() Ritz and Asti o AEC.

The launch was inaugurated by Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Awang Abu Bakar bin Hj Apong, the Minister of Communications, at DST Group Headquarters.

DST Group's Chief Operating Officer, Hj Marsad bin Hj Ismail, said that part of the challenges faced by DST Group is to provide the latest innovative technology at an affordable price for its customers while ensuring that optimum quality

service is maintained at all times.

All of DSTCom's Prima and Easi subscribers can access the new, service by visiting Internet website http://onthego.dst-group.com through their mobile phones' Internet browser.

To access the new service, subscribers will need to have DST-Corn's mobile Internet setting – dst.internet - on their mobile phones, which is available for free. Subscribers can call DST Care 151 to get the settings sent to them for free. Alternatively, they can visit dst-group.eorn for instructions on how to manually configure their mobile phones' settings.

With `OntheGo!’, subscribers can stay updated with mobile ESPN and stay connected with their friends and family with Facebook mobile. They can also get ringtones, music and wallpapers, as well as games from Gameloft.

Yesterday also marked the launching of a three-day DST Group Carnival at DST Group Headquarters in Tungku Link.

Today's carnival, which is themed "MTV Day", will run from 1pm to 10pm, while tomorrow's event, which is themed "Kids Day", will start at 10Pm and end at 4:30pm.

Parking for visitors is available at the UBD campus, where shuttle buses will be making stops at various assembly points on an hourly basis.

Also present at yesterday's event were Deputy Minister of Communications, Dato Paduka Awang Hj Yussof bin Hj Abd Hamid, and other senior government officers.   -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
