New Chairman For RBA Board Of Directors

Bandar Seri Begawan - By command of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister's Office yesterday announced that His Majesty has consented to appoint Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) to succeed Pengiran Dato Paduka Hj Abu Bakar bin Pengiran Seri Indera Hj Ismail.

With the appointment, Pengiran Dato Paduka Hj Abu Bakar will no longer be a member of the Board of Directors of Royal Brunei Airlines.

The appointment will be effective from Thursday, 14th Zulkaedah, 1429 Hijrah corresponding to November 13, 2008.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
