Bandar Seri Begawan – Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) yesterday held its 50th Anniversary credit card big giveaway lucky draw at the Goldpages IT & Electronic Expo 2008 in the Mall, Gadong.

Luck was on Nigel Patrick Shaw's side as he drew one of the 10 envelopes containing the grand prize, a Philips 42” LCD TV.

Hj Matnor Hj Salleh won himself an Apple Macbook while Norarfan Hj Zainal walked away with an HP 2133 Mini-Note PC. Seven others brought home with them a Nokia N78, Sony Cybershot DSC W300, three iPod Touches and two ipod Nano Videos.

The General Manager of Credit Cards and Personal Loans of SCB, Ms Annie Ng was present at the ceremony to give away the prizes and congratulate the winners.

The promotion began in July and was open to all Standard Chartered Credit Card members who used their credit cards, as well as new customers who successfully applied for a credit card during the promotion period.

From November 7-9, Standard Chartered credit card members can take part in a sure-win lucky dip at the SCB booth by producing their credit card charge slip with the minimum amount of $30 made on the seine day.

Customers can expect to win exclusive bank merchandise, meal vouchers, movie tickets, shopping vouchers and fine Standard Dollar (Std$) points which can be redeemed for a wide range of items including air miles.
