Prince Charles Leaves Brunei

Begawan - HRH Prince Charles, Britain's Prince of Wales, left
Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon after a two days official
visit to the Sultanate.

Biding
farewell to HRH Prince Charles was His Royal Highness Prince
Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at
the Prime Minister's Office.
Also present were Pehin
Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Suyoi
bin Osman, the Minister in Attendance, Pehin Datu Kerma
Setia CP Dato Paduka Seri Zainuddin Jalani, the Police
Commissioner, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka
Seri Hj Awang Halbi Hj Md Yussof, Commander of Royal Brunei
Armed Forces, Mr. John Saville, the British High
Commissioner and his spouse.
During the two day visit to
Brunei Darussalam, the |

Prince of Wales and
Duchess of Cornwall visited the British Garrison in
Seria as well as planted the 1,000th tree of a
reforestation project in Badas reserve area.
The Prince and Duchess
also attended an audience and a Royal banquet with His
Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei
Darussalam at Istana Nurul Iman on Friday evening.

Yesterday, The Prince of Wales and
Duchess of Cornwall visited the University Brunei Darussalam and
also presented certificates to 26 local graduates who obtained their
degrees from University of Wales institute, Cardiff over the last
two years.
Before concluding his visit, HRH
Prince Charles also met with officials from the British High
Commission in Brunei Darussalam.
