Public Service Comm Plays Host To
Malaysian Counterparts

Begawan - To further strengthen relations and share
beneficial information, members of the Public Service Commission
Malaysia met their Bruneian counterparts yesterday at The Empire
Hotel and Country Club.
The 67-member Malaysian delegation,
headed by its commission chairman Tan Sri Jamaluddin Hj Ahmad
Damanhuri, was warmly received by the chairman of Public Service
Commission, Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Wahab Hj Juned, his deputy, Dato
Paduka Hj Abdul Majid Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Hj Abdul
Rahim and, several heads of departments and senior officers.
The ceremony kicked off with an
opening prayer recited by Dato Paduka Hj Mohamad Murad Abang Ali,
and was followed by opening speeches from chairmen of both
commissions.
Subsequently, a brief presentation
on the functions of the Public Service Commission was presented by
the deputy chairman, Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Rahim.
The event concluded with an
exchange of souvenirs and a lunch at the Atrium Cafe.
