100 Join NBT Golf Tourney

Bandar Seri Begawan - Some 100 RBAF personnel and invited golfers joined the two-day NBT Golf Championship 2007 over the weekend at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Golf Club, Berakas, according to a press release.

Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Mejor General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Mohammad bin Haji Daud, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, also participated. This annual golf tournament, NBT sponsored for the 5th consecutive year, is fast becoming a firm fixture on the RBAF golf calendar, the press release said.

There was a chance to win a Toyota Avanza for a hole-in-one at Hole 11 and a Toyota VIOS at Hole 14. Nobody won.

Ninan Chacko, NBT Managing Director, expressed NBT's pleasure in hosting this annual golf tournament. He announced that NBT has just introduced the new Toyota Landcruiser 200 4WD, and will soon be introducing the Lexus LX570 4WD.
