First Perfume Bar To Open In Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - Mercier Boutique is set to launch Brunei's first perfume bar tomorrow at Level 2 of The Mall in Gadong.

Featuring a wide variety of `Lou Anne' fragrances imported from Grasse, a small town in France, the perfume bar is the first of its kind to be introduced in the Sultanate.

Its concept is unique: Customers can bring their own empty bottle or choose from Mercier's collection of refillable perfume bottles and purchase the desired amount from the perfume bar.

Lipstick size perfumes are also available for the convenience of the ladies, perfect to be carried in handbags. Mercier Boutique, the master franchise for ‘Lou Anne’ perfume in Brunei, brought in 22 different types of fragrances resembling designer perfumes at affordable prices.

According to the owner, if the response is good, he might expand the ‘Lou Anne’ range to include the whole collection of over 50 variety perfumes.

The advantage of this new perfume concept is that customers can purchase more variety of fragrances at smaller amount giving them the benefit of enjoying a wider selection, said the owner. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
