Cambodian And Laos Envoys Hold Meeting

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ambassador of Cambodia to Brunei, Mr Nan Sy, received a courtesy call yesterday from Mr Sandy Bounkhourn, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Brunei, at the Cambodian envoy's residence in Bamboo Garden in Kg Bengkurong.

According to Mr Nan Sy, "Cambodia and Laos are close neighbours and members of Asean, and both countries are close in terms of cooperation in leadership-to-leadership as well as people-to-people. It is hoped with the courtesy visit, the two countries can work closely together," he said.

The courtesy call also witnessed the presentation of a souvenir from the Cambodian Ambassador to the Ambassador of Lao People's Democratic Republic. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
