Chicken King Fast-Food Chain To
Open First Branch In KB

- Chicken King - a Western halal-themed Malaysian
international fast-food franchise restaurant - will open its first
branch in Kuala Belait sometime in February next year.
The deal was struck at a signing
ceremony between the Managing Director of Chicken Malaysia Mr KN
Chua and Mrs Ho Kin Juan, the Master Franchisee as part of the
international fast-food franchise `global expansion policy'.
The official signing ceremony in
the presence of the Belait District Officer Awang Haji Mohammad bin
Haji Abdul-Rahman, provided exclusive ownership rights of Chicken
King fast food chain in Brunei Darussalam.
The ceremony held at the District
Office also saw the signing between Mrs Ho and Dk Sulfiah binte Pg
Abd Razak, as the Managing Franchisee who will be responsible
towards the operation of all Chicken King Outlets in the country.
The Master Franchisee in Brunei,
Mrs Ho, said the setting up of the fast-food chain in Brunei is
hoped to provide more employment opportunities for locals in the
district and also serves to attract tourists.
Chicken King, a hybrid between KFC
and Kenny Rogers has now over 30 outlets in East and West Malaysia,
Bangladesh, Pakistan, UAE, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. -- Courtesy of Borneo
