School Holds Talk On Climbing Success Ladder To Higher Education

Bandar Seri Begawan - A talk entitled "Planning the ladder of success to higher education" was held yesterday at the Sekolah Perdagangan (Commercial School) lecture hall in Gadong.

The event was organised by Cikgu Halimahtul Saadiah Pehin Dato Sulaiman, Programme Coordinator in Business and Finance (Final Year Two), and Cikgu Masnalliza bte Hj Zaini, Industrial Liaison Officer. Present as guest of honour was the deputy principal of the school Cikgu Mariah bte Ab Manaf. The event was aimed at strengthening cooperation between higher,: institutions in the Sultanate and the school.

The one-day event was also attended by over 100 students who were mostly final year students of BDTVEC National Diploma Business and Finance, as well as BDTVEC National Diploma Secretarial Studies.

On hand to speak at the event were invited speakers from ITB, Cosmopolitan College and Majlis Kebangsaan Pengiktirafan Kelulusan.

The various topics that were presented at the talk included Administration for FIND, Admission for HND and Accreditation for HND and Degree Courses.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
