Temburong Survival Course For Youths

Temburong - The Youth and Sports Department Temburong Branch will organise a Survival Course for Youths in the Temburong jungle tomorrow, as part of the school holiday programme.

The challenging five-day activity will not only provide an exciting experience but would also benefit participating youths both mentally and physically.

Awg Hj Ayub, Youth and Sports Officer Temburong Branch said activities include a `weekend project' whereby the department will take in suggestions from youths on what activities they wish to hold - an ad hoc programme held at the premises of the department every weekend.

The department will also organise a Youth Carnival 2007 which is to be held at the open market (tamu) in the district this month. The date will be announced later. Participating youths in tomorrow's programme are asked to be prepared and to equip themselves to join any ' activity.
