Career Talk At SUAMPRIPAD

Bandar Seri Begawan - Over 100 form four and five students from the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic Religious Secondary School for Girls (SUAMPRIPAD) on Monday attended a career talk at the school.

The 'event was organised by SUAMPRIPAD's Counselling and Career Guidance Section and chaired by Cikgu Hj Mohd Nadzri Radhi bin Hj Nali. The principal of the school, Ustazah Datin Piah Hj Mohd Saat was also at the career talk.

Three speakers presented talks at the gathering, namely Dzulkefdi bin Masri from the Ministry of Religious Affairs Training Section, Ustaz Mohd Hazmi bin Hj Ahmad Daud from the Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saiffuddien Institute of Islamic Studies, UBD, and Ustaz Hj Yahya bin Apong from the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers' College. The speakers lectured on study opportunities and entry requirements for various courses at higher institutions of study in Brunei and overseas. The event concluded with a presentation of souvenirs to the speakers.

Among the objectives of the talk were to motivate the students to strive even harder in their pursuit of academic excellence, and to keep track of career options so they can plan ahead and make good future career decisions.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
