Prince Sufri Leaves For Asian Games

Bandar Seri Begawan - HRH Prince Sufri Bolkiah left Brunei yesterday for the 15th Asian Games from Dec 1 to 15 in Doha, Qatar.

HRH Prince Sufri Bolkiah, the President of Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, was greeted by Dato Paduka Haji Jemat Hj Ampal, Permanent Secretary at -Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and "officials on arrival at the Brunei International Airport.

This year, Brunei will be represented by 15 players and officials and will take - part in karatedo and tenpin bowling.

The Brunei contingent will be led by chef-de-mission Japar bin Bangkol and the officials included assistant chef-de-mission Hj Mohd Zamri Dato Paduka Hj Hamdani, team officials Mariam Ulat and Pg Anak Md Sofian Pg Anak Ibrahim and physiotherapist Pg Shadon Pg Hj Damit

The karatedo team include team manager Hj Malai Jeffery bin Hj Malai Mohammad, Mohd Sofian Abdullah, Hj Eddie Jofraini Hj Johari, Mohammad Fazil Rewandie Mohd FaizaI, Hj Abdul Malik Mohd Zaini and coach Hj Okida Simangasing.
