Shutterbugs Learn The Art Of Photography

Bandar Seri Begawan - A photography workshop organised by the Exhibition and Technical Services of the Museums Department was officially launched yesterday at the Brunei Museum, in Kota Ban.

The three-day work-shop was officiated by Awang Bantong binAntaran, Deputy Director of Museums. According to Pg Hj Mohd Yamin bin PSJ Pg Hj Abd Momin, chairperson of the workshop event committee, the event is being held to provide an ideal platform for all participants to understand the basics of photography skills, while developing their individual creativity and methods. Furthermore, all participants will get more experience and gain a much broader knowledge on the art of photography, whether it is in theory or practical applications.

The event also hopes to foster stronger ties among the participants under the departments of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, who will be able to share their own experiences in photography to fellow participants.

The workshop is facilitated by Hj Yacob bin DP Hj Sunny and will cover various topics of photography including Image Recording, Image Processing, Digital Imaging, Printing, History of Camera, Focusing Accessories, Shutter Speed Exposure, Compositions as well as the assessment of the photo clinic.
