Royal Regalia Receives 87 Govt Officers, Village Heads

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Royal Regalia yesterday received a visit from 87 government officials and village heads from the Brunei-Muara District.

The visit saw Exhibition Curator Pengiran Hj Yamin bin Pengiran Setia Jaya Pengiran Hj Abdul Momin briefing the delegation on various issues.

According to Kampong Kapok village head cum delegation leader Maior (Rtd) Johari bin Abd Rajak, the visit was part of their Adat Istiadat course, which is organised by the Adat Istiadat Negara Department.

The first day of the course saw participants being familarised with the 'Adat Istiadat' Brunei, while the second day saw them visiting the Royal Regalia. The course concludes today with a closing ceremony at the 'Lapau.'-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
