Pre-Retirement Course For Government Officers

Bandar Seri Begawan - Fifty officers from various ministries and departments will today attend the last of an eight-day course aimed at empowering participants with prerequisite knowledge and hands-on training before retiring from the government service.

The guidelines and benefits acquired at the course would help would-be pensioners to plan and execute their next course of action for their retirement future.

Representatives from various government agencies and consultants were invited to deliver briefings and trainings on various modules to equip the participants with the necessary skills and know-how before they enter a new life as pensioners.

The facilitators delivered talks in great length on some entrepreneurial aspects - such as how to start a business, analysing financial statements, cash flow projection, management plan and marketing strategies.
