BLNG, Community Leaders Strengthen Ties

Bandar Seri Begawan - BLNG Managing Director Fred Smeenk and the rest of the management team, together with several Liang Lumut community members, yesterday paid Hari Raya visits on the homes of the penghulu mukim and ketua kampong.

The first stop was to the home of Penghulu Mukim Liang Hj Abd Hamid Momin. The group later headed on to the residence of Ketua Kampong Sungai Liang Hj Mohd Azmi Abdullah. The visits were meant to enhance relations between BLNG and the community leaders.

The trip also enabled BLNG to understand the needs of the people living in the area. Additionally, it allowed the BLNG management team to learn more about the development of the surrounding areas. The visits are an annual activity organised by BLNG.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
