Bandar Seri Begawan - Kampong Keriam Malay Association, Tutong (PESAKA) welcomed 35 youths from Asean countries and Japan under the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme (SSEAYP), who arrived in the Sultanate on Sunday, in a welcoming ceremony at the PESAKA Wawasan Hall.

The youths are currently under the foster family programme during their three days and two nights stay in the Sultanate. The event began with a briefing by PESAKA Deputy President II Awg Roslin bin Suhaili on the history of its establishment, activities, economy and structure.

The function also saw the youths from each country presenting various performances, as well as mingling with members of the association and village residents.

Also at the event they had the opportunity to bond with their foster families. Yesterday, the youths visited the Tutong District Office, where they were briefed and taken on a tour of Tutong District. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
