Sultan Grants Audience To SSEAYP Heads

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to receive in audience heads of delegation from Asean members countries and Japan of the Ship of Southeast Asian Youth Programme (SSEAYP) 2006 at the Istana Nurul Iman.

The 13-member entourage was led by ship administration officer Tashiro Hiroaki. During the audience, His Majesty said he hoped the visitors would be well treated throughout their duration in the country.

Also present at the event were Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Pehin Major General (Rtd) Dato Awang Haji Mohammad bin Haji Daud and Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office Pengiran Dato Haji Abdul Hamid.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
