Bruneian In Thailand For Al-Quran Recital

Bandar Seri Begawan - Thailand is currently hosting an al-Quran recital in conjunction with the celebration of Maulud Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The event - to be held at Suan Amphorn Hall from November 17 to 19 - will include one Brunei participant.

Brunei Darussalam has produced outstanding 'qari' and 'qariah' to represent the country in such events.

Representing the country is Mohamad Fahmie bin Haji Metussin, who was chosen by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to attend the event.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
