Young Musicians Invited To Take Part In Jazz Concert

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Hashimoto Cooperation is the ground handler for an international-level Jazz concert that will be held in August 2007.

In relation to this, musicians between the ages of 8 and 15 are invited to take part in the upcoming event. Musicians below the age of 17 will also be considered.

This first-of-its-kind event will feature a combination of locals and young Japanese musicians brought in by the Tokyo Japan Cultural Exchange Association led by its President Mr Yasunori Morishige.

For the same project, 18 young musicians are also invited to play the Record a type of flute in the concert.

Those who are interested will get lessons from January onwards on playing the instrument as well as the clarinet, flute and trumpet for a monthly fee.

Colouring Contest This Sunday At Supa Save Gadong

Bandar Seri Begawan - Colgate Palmolive (B) Sdn Bhd and Supa Save will be holding a children's colouring competition this Sunday from 10.30am to 1 pm at the department store's branch in Gadong.

It is divided into two categories with a limit of only 50 contestants for each group.

Only colour pencils are allowed for use in the contest.

Registration will open and winners are going to be announced at the venue on the same day.
