The inmates of Jerudong Prison were recently treated to an Aidilfitri celebration, an event that also involved the participation of prison personnel.

Also in attendance was Prisons Director Dato Paduka Hj Ahmad Hj Dullah.

The event aimed to allow for the strengthening of ties among inmates, and also to provide them a chance to seek forgiveness.

Additionally, the event was held to ensure the inmate would not feel left out during the joyous occasion, albeit not being able to spend the festive season with their families.
