200 Students Attend Amali Ugama Roadshow

Bandar Seri Begawan - Some 200 students of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic Religious Secondary Girls School (SUAMPRIPAD) yesterday attended an Amali Ugama roadshow in its main hall.

Also present were school principal Ustazah Datin Piah Hj Mohd Saat, Vice-principal Ustazah Hjh Sarimah Hj Ahmad, officers and teachers.

Six officers from the Amali Ugama Section of Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs presented their findings.

They had visited 152 religious schools and observed aspects related to Amali Ugama such as mass prayers, "Wudhu", and "Mandi Wajib".

The event was jointly organised by the school's Al-Quran and Amali Ugama and

Mawad Ad-Diniyyah departments. The roadshow aimed to enhance the students' knowledge and expose them to the proper and correct procedures while performing "Wudhu" and mass prayers.

A short question and answer session followed. Tokens of appreciation were given by the principal to the officers. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
